Compact and lightweight, XF14mmF2.8 R lens uses a clever optical design that keeps distortion to a minimum, but still delivers high-quality images packed full of detail. XF14mmF2.8 R has both focusing distances and a depth-of-field scale etched on to the lens barrel. This will help you to choose a focusing point and aperture setting that maximizes the area of sharp focus in an image. The scales are also useful for pre-focusing at a certain distance when capturing street images, for example.

XF14mmF2.8 R may be compact and lightweight, but that does not compromise the build quality. The lens barrel is all metal, while the aperture ring is click-stopped in one-third stop steps for precise control. Likewise, the focusing ring is smoothly damped to ensure pinpoint manual focusing should customers need it.
