The U501 5.5" Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor with 3D LUTs and HDR from RGB voice features a touchscreen display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 450 cd/m² brightness, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. It supports HDMI input signals up to DCI 4K24 and provides an HDMI output for connecting to wireless transmitters, larger on-set monitors, and other devices. It also supports 3D LUTs via an SD card slot to view different color profiles.
A large set of software features includes waveform, histogram, and anamorphic mode. The menu system is made simple with the touchscreen through swiping and pinching. Power options include a 12 VDC input and a battery slot that accepts an L-series or LP-E6 battery. An 8 VDC output can connect optional dummy battery cables to power your camera or an accessory. A 1/4"-20 mounting thread is provided on the bottom, and there's also a headphone jack to monitor your embedded audio.
